Concordo was established in Chiang Mai after its founders observed something that came up repeatedly in the region's international community: families facing transition often arrived at professional services — legal, financial, administrative — without a shared understanding of their own situation. They had not yet had the conversations. They had not organised what they knew. The result was confusion, misalignment, and avoidable difficulty.
The name Concordo comes from the Latin for "to be of one mind" — a modest aspiration, perhaps, but one that felt right for a service designed to help households find a workable, shared perspective before taking formal steps.
We opened our doors on Charoen Rat Road, Wat Ket, in 2021 and have since supported families from across Thailand and the wider region with workshops, planning materials, and preparation resources that are entirely educational in nature.
What We Are Here to Do
Concordo exists to give families the space and structure to have clear conversations before change becomes crisis. We do not advise. We do not represent. We do not diagnose or prescribe. What we do is offer well-designed educational materials — workshops, toolkits, and preparation series — that help households organise their thoughts, hear one another, and arrive at a shared understanding of their situation.
Our resources are built around the principle that every voice in a household deserves equal weight and that preparation, not pressure, is what makes transitions manageable. We serve families, couples, and individuals at the early stages of navigating change who want to walk into their next steps — whatever those may be — feeling organised, heard, and ready.

Co-founder & Programme Lead
Siriporn has spent over a decade developing adult communication curricula for organisations across Southeast Asia. She leads the design of Concordo's workshop series.
Martin Hauer
Co-founder & Content Director
Martin brings a background in plain-language writing and adult education. He oversees all written materials and ensures that every resource is accessible and clearly structured.
Nanthida Wongchai
Participant Support Coordinator
Nanthida handles all participant communications, manages session scheduling, and ensures families get the information they need before and after each programme.
How We Ensure Quality
Privacy by Design
Participant information is handled with discretion. We collect only what is necessary and store it securely. We do not share participant details with third parties.
Plain-Language Standards
All materials are reviewed against plain-language criteria before release. Complex topics are explained without jargon, so participants can engage regardless of background.
Scope Boundaries
Every resource and session includes clear scope boundaries. Participants are made aware of what Concordo does and does not provide, and are directed to appropriate professionals when needed.
Facilitated Group Practice
Workshop facilitation follows a structured, non-directive approach. Facilitators are trained to hold space equally and avoid guiding participants toward predetermined outcomes.
Regular Content Review
All written materials are reviewed periodically and updated to reflect current information. We note update dates on all resources so participants know what version they are working with.
Participant Feedback Loop
We invite feedback after each workshop and toolkit purchase. This input directly shapes future editions and helps us stay responsive to what families actually need.
Family Transition Education in Northern Thailand
Concordo operates from Chiang Mai's Wat Ket neighbourhood, a part of the city known for its quiet character and accessible location along the Ping River. It is a setting that suits the kind of work we do — thoughtful, unhurried, and focused on what matters to the people who walk through the door.
Family transition covers a wide range of life changes: separations, relocations, the reorganisation of shared finances, decisions about children, estate planning conversations, and more. These are situations that most families face without any prior preparation. They arrive at lawyers' offices, at financial advisors, at community organisations having not yet spoken plainly with one another. Concordo's resources are designed to change that.
Our Respectful Dialogue Workshop has been attended by households from Thailand, Germany, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others. The international character of Chiang Mai's resident community is something we understand well, and our materials reflect that — written in plain English, structured for cross-cultural use, and free of assumptions about how families should be organised.
The Fair Planning Toolkit distils what we know about household organisation into a structured, self-guided format. It is not a legal document and it does not replace professional advice. It is a starting point — a way to get the relevant information out of people's heads and onto a page so that conversations can begin from a shared base.
The Full Preparation Series is our most comprehensive offering. It brings together the communication elements of the workshop with the organisational elements of the toolkit, and adds plain-language overviews of how common family-transition processes tend to work in Thailand. It is designed for families who want to arrive at their professional consultations well-prepared.
